In the story shown, the criminal is described as “heat made of plastic”, patients with depression or anxiety are often involved in biased thinking. This linked in with the idea of “plastic heart”, where the criminal become bad omen might due to failure to present goodwill.

Cognitive Distortion is an exaggerated or irrational thought patten involved in the onset or perpetuation of psychopathology states, such as depression and anxiety

In this project, I focus on two features of Cognitive Distortion: Overgeneralization and Polarized or black-and-white thinking. To show the extreme character of the protagonist in the narrative.
